If this were a movie it would be funny. Not so funny if you’re a guard yourself…
This is funny and sad. They don’t have an armorer that can look at a Colt .45 and accurately determine date of manufacture, let alone maintain the weapon.
The Colt is a perfectly acceptable sidearm if properly maintained. Firearms don’t “age” — but they do stop working if neglected.
